Based on the original way of hip-hop DJ-ing, he uses the decks as instruments. His eclectic DJ sets breathe creativity and he dazzles with spot-on scratches and live mash-ups.  With an impressive background (4x winner of Dutch DJ Championships) and a bag full of (turntablism) tricks, he can easily go from hip-hop and r&b to disco, soul or funk; but also blends the latest club-hits or the best classics.

DNS, better know as Dennis Bruijn, is a creative mastermind with extreme love for dj-ing and music. He got inspired by watching videos of other DJ’s showcasing their technical skills at the DMC (World DJ Finals). As a result he started to enter DJ battles in 1990, next to club DJ-ing. His 50/50 split in DJ activities, ranges from club- and festivals bookings, to specific turntablist gigs like showcases, workshops and performing with bands.

Crowned a triple Dutch DMC DJ Champion and winner of the Red Bull Thre3style DJ Championship, he had the honor to represent The Netherlands in the DMC DJ World Championships. Over the years he worked with several Dutch artists (Extince, Diggy Dex), played alongside fellow DJ champions (TLM, Turne, Kypski), Dutch DJ’s (Laidback Luke, Fedde le Grand, Erick-E), big bands, orchestras and opened for international acts such as Snoop Dogg, Black Eyed Peas, Mobb Deep, DJ Premier and DJ Q-Bert. On top of that DNS Supported Masta Ace (USA) during his shows in Holland and Norway, performed in many counties and played at Dutch festivals like Lowlands, Mysteryland and Paaspop.

Backed with an extensive career, Dennis keeps spreading the art of DJ-ing, drops an occasional mixtape and works on new DJ videos to inspire.
