As a true vinyl only event and DJ collective, every set is performed exclusively on vinyl, delivering that unmistakable warm analog sound. From hip-hop, r&b and reggae to dancehall, soul, funk, disco, UK garage, drum & bass and house classics, Zwarte Liefde represents pure vinyl DJ culture at its finest.

Founded in Amsterdam in 2016 by Welly Ibrahim (aka Welly Well), Zwarte Liefde evolved into a respected vinyl only DJ collective known for craftsmanship and deep musical knowledge. Every DJ set is built from handpicked vinyl records and extraordinary turntable skills, from scratches to seamless blends, preserving the authentic essence of DJing. The collective has hosted and performed at leading venues such as Paradiso, A'DAM Tower, Bret, Pacific Amsterdam, Waterkant, Hedon and Luxor establishing a strong reputation within the vinyl and black music scene.
