MOFO stands for Move (or Movin’) Forward and is a brand new concept by Welly Well that celebrates the evolution of DJ culture and modern music events. From vinyl to streaming, from classic turntables to digital performance tools and even phones as creative instruments, MOFO merges past, present and future into one dynamic dancefloor experience. Music, technology and culture come together in a setting where genres blend, generations connect and movement is central, resulting in a surprising and dynamic videoset. DJs creatively work with stems to create the coolest mash ups, whether during club nights, festivals, daytime events or special showcases.

Building on the success of Zwarte Liefde, the vinyl only concept by Welly Ibrahim (aka Welly Well), MOFO expands the boundaries of the traditional DJ set. Where Zwarte Liefde celebrates the roots of DJ culture through vinyl, MOFO explores the next chapter, embracing the full spectrum of modern DJ tools, from vinyl to streaming platforms, from stems to even phones as performance devices. Expect live visuals, video DJ sets, video clips, creative mashups and genre-crossing performances where hip-hop meets drum & bass, Afrobeat blends with house and pop connects with the underground, all curated to create a seamless audiovisual experience.
