Our
promise
Our DJ courses in Amsterdam are designed for anyone who wants to develop real DJ skills and discover their own sound and style. Whether you are taking your first steps behind the decks or already playing and looking to sharpen your technique, our DJ courses and DJ lessons support DJs at every level and across all formats.
In a professional studio and supportive community environment you learn how to work with the DJ setup, understand your tools and build the foundations of DJing. Participants can work with different DJ formats such as vinyl, DVS, CDJs and controllers, and learn to use popular DJ software including Rekordbox, Serato and DJay. Together we explore DJ gear, where to find and organize your music and how to shape your own musical identity. Because becoming a great DJ is not just about technique, it is about discovering what makes you unique and finding your own spot in a competitive DJ market.

From there we focus on timing, track selection and mixing techniques. A great DJ knows when to play a track and how to transition smoothly into the next one. You learn how to understand your music collection, organize your library and quickly find the track you need when the moment calls for it. We practice different mixing techniques, from smooth blends to more creative transitions, and explore loops and effects to add character to your sets. For those interested in a more technical or musical approach, we also introduce scratch and turntablism techniques, helping DJs add expression, rhythm and personality to their performance. The goal is not to create jukebox DJs, but to help you develop your own style and flow behind the decks.

Finally we focus on becoming stage ready. Strong technical skills are essential, but performing as a DJ also requires confidence, presence and a clear direction. We look at how to build your profile, present yourself both online and offline and position yourself within today’s DJ landscape. With guidance from experienced DJs and coaches you learn how to translate your passion into real opportunities. By combining technique, creativity and vision, the course helps you build the skills, mindset and network needed to find your place in the scene.
