CANE
DJ Cane is known for his smooth, groove-driven sets and his ability to discover records that feel like hits before the crowd even knows them. With a strong foundation in R&B, hip-hop and dancehall, he blends these styles effortlessly with jazz, funk, soul, disco and UK garage influences, creating versatile all-round sets that keep dancefloors moving. Friendly, humble and a true team player behind the decks, DJ Cane is driven by one simple mission: to give audiences a great night while introducing them to music they didn’t know they needed yet.
His journey started in 1997 at the age of 14, driven by a deep love for hip-hop and record collecting. Growing up in the Eindhoven neighbourhood De Keen, he first performed under the name DJ Keen. As his career expanded internationally, he changed his name to DJ Cane to ensure the pronunciation worked across different countries. What began with collecting CDs quickly evolved into a passion for vinyl and DJ culture, shaping the musical foundation that still defines his style today.
Over the years DJ Cane has played at a wide range of clubs, festivals and events across the Netherlands and beyond. Highlights include performances at ADE Amsterdam, 750 Jaar Amsterdam, Voltage Festival, Breda Barst and the Black Music Festival in Germany, as well as appearances at the Zwarte Liefde vinyl only concept by Welly Well. Throughout his career he has shared stages with respected DJs such as DJ Irwan, Chuckie, DNS and DJ Biggi, building a strong reputation within the Dutch black music scene.
Today DJ Cane continues to share his passion for music through mixtapes on GLXY FM, titled DJ Cane’s Bangers, while also mentoring upcoming DJs and helping others learn the craft. Whether spinning vinyl at Zwarte Liefde or rocking clubs with his signature selections, he remains dedicated to discovering new music and bringing people together through sound.
With a love for groove, fresh selections and unforgettable vibes, DJ Cane keeps audiences dancing while sending them home with new musical discoveries
